Product Description
Introduction
SAE 304L stainless steel is the most common stainless steel. The steel contains both chromium (between 18% and 20%) and nickel (between 8% and 10.5%) metals as the main non-iron constituents. It is an austenitic stainless steel. It is less electrically and thermally conductive than carbon steel. It is magnetic, but less magnetic than steel. It has a higher corrosion resistance than regular steel and is widely used because of the ease in which it is formed into various shapes.

International stainless steel marking method
The American Iron and Steel Institute uses three digits to designate various standard grades of malleable stainless steel. in:
①Austenitic stainless steel is marked with numbers of 200 and 300 series.
② Ferritic and martensitic stainless steels are represented by numbers in the 400 series. For example, some of the more common austenitic stainless steels are designated 201, 304, 316 and 310.
③ Ferritic stainless steel is marked with 430 and 446, and martensitic stainless steel is marked with 410, 420 and 440C, duplex (austenite-ferrite).
④Stainless steel, precipitation hardening stainless steel and high alloys with iron content less than 50% are usually named by patent names or trademarks.
